Xiaomi Released The Mi Notebook Pro And Mi Notebook Ultra In India

RedmiBook 15 was announced in India by Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi earlier this month. The company also launched the Mi Notebook Pro.

Mi Notebook Pro

The Mi Notebook Pro features a 14-inch display with 2,560×1,600 resolution, 16/10 aspect ratio, and a 60 Hz refresh rate. The battery is a 56 Whr. The entire unit measures 17.3mm in thickness and weighs 1.46kg.

A source indicates that the Mi Notebook Pro is available in two main options: (1) Intel’s 11th Generation Core i7-11370H processor, and (2) Intel’s 11th Generation i5-11300H processor. Only the higher-end model will come with 16GB of RAM. There are two RAM options for the lower-end model: 8GB or 16GB. Both models come with a 512GB NVMe SSD storage option.

  • The Mi Notebook Pro with Core i5 processor and 16 GB RAM will set you back INR 59999 (€810/EUR685)
  • The Mi Notebook Pro with Core i7 processor and 16 GB RAM will set you back INR 72,999 (985/EUR835).

Mi Notebook Ultra

The Mi Notebook Ultra features a 15.6 inch display with a resolution of 3,200 x 2000 pixels, 16:10 aspect ratio and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The display supports DC Dimming, which reduces eye fatigue. The laptop comes with a full-size keyboard, a 3-level backlight and a fingerprint reader in its power button. It also has a HD Webcam with HD Webcam, a microphone and two stereo speakers of 2W with DTS audio support.

This model is the highest-end and features Intel’s 11th Gen Core i7-11370H CPU. It has a maximum clock speed at 4.8 GHz. A lower version of the same device is available that includes Intel’s 11th Generation i5-11300H processor, which can clock at 4.4 GHz. The i7 model comes with one 16GB RAM option, while the i5 model has two: 8GB RAM or 16GB RAM. Both models come with a 512GB NVMe SSD storage option.

Both versions of the Mi Notebook Ultra will feature Intel’s Iris Xe graphics. The laptop measures 17.9mm in thickness and weighs approximately 1.7kg.

The 70 Whr battery provides power for the device with 12 hours of back-up life. Futures, the 65W charger charges the entire unit in 90 minutes.

The laptop has Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, 5.1, 1x Thunderbolt 4 and 1x Type C port. 1x Type A USB 3.2Gen 1, 1x USB 2.0 Gen 1 and 1x HDMI.

It also includes MS Office Home 2019 and Student Edition 2019, and runs Windows 10 Home right out of the box.

The price options for the Mi Notebook Ultra are as follows:

  • The Mi Notebook Ultra with Core i5 processor and 8 GB RAM will set you back INR 59.999 (€810/EUR685)
  • The Mi Notebook Ultra with Core i5 processor and 8 GB RAM will set you back INR 63999 (EUR730/$860).
  • The Mi Notebook Ultra with Core i7 processor and 16 GB RAM will set you back INR 76999 (EUR880/USD1040).

Amazon.com and Mi.com will have both the Pro- and Ultra models available. Mi.com, Amazon.com and Mi Home Stores throughout the country will have both the Pro and Ultra models. Sales begin on August 31st.
