According to The Wall Street Journal, which cites documents from the United States Department of Commerce, the United States continues its supply of modern technology to China.
Despite increasing tensions, the US continues its supply of almost everything China needs. The Ministry of Commerce does not have to check that almost all technology and goods exported go to China.
According to the source, the U.S. continues sending China “an array semiconductors, aero components, and other goods that could be used to support Beijing’s military needs.”
According to The Wall Street Journal, however, there is no agreement within the US presidential administration on how to establish trade relations with Beijing.
The US exported $125 billion to China in 2020 alone. Only 0.5% of the volume of goods was allowed by the US authorities.
