An annual satisfaction survey of car owners in China is conducted by JD Power. The latest survey was completed by more than 25,000 individuals who purchased new cars within a 2-6 month period.
The Satisfaction Index is a way to display the results. It’s calculated using a variety of parameters such as an online shop, communication with a dealer and a visit at a salon. Maximum value is 1000 points.
FAW Hongqi is the leader among Chinese brands with 756 points. This is up from 736 points last year. Chery, Changan, and GAC shared the second line with 749 points. The sales satisfaction index showed significant increases for all three brands. Chery has increased 17 points, Changan gained 19 points and GAC gained 21 points.
A joint brand of Volvo and Geely called Lynk & Co took third place among Chinese brands. This is an 18 point increase over last year. Geely took fourth place with 745 points. This is 19 more than last year. FAW Bestune was fifth with 744 points. This is 15 points more than 2021. The top was not made up of Haval and Exeed.
Chinese brands have seen an average increase of 19 points. This indicates that they are improving continuously.
