Geekbench has published the Core i7-13700K Test. An engineering sample of this processor performed better than the Core i7-12700K or the Ryzen 9 5950X. The Core i7-13700K was then tested with DDR4 memory. But what happens if the Core i7-13700K is used with DDR5 memory?
This will result in a significant increase: The Core i7-13700K working with DDR5 shows a 20% increase in multi-threaded tests. This is quite significant. However, the type of memory doesn’t affect single-threaded performance.
Core i5-13600K responds the same as DDR5, but the increase in multi-threaded performance of the Core i5-13600K is less than 11%.
