Skull and Bones now has a new release date. Players can start sailing in search of glory and loot starting November this year. Ubisoft announced the date with a cinematic trailer. There’s also plenty of gameplay footage from the pirate adventure. Ubisoft already revealed Skull and Bones during the E3 2017 games show.
The game has been delayed several more times since then and there has been very little news about the project. Now it is clear that Skull and Bones will be released on November 8, 2022 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. There is no longer a version for the “older” generation consoles. However, there is crossplay between all supported platform.
Black Flag meets Sea of Thieves
Skull and Bones, an online pirate adventure, is primarily designed for multiplayer gaming. The Indian Ocean at the end of 17th century is the setting. Players can become feared pirates in an open world and compete against other ships, settlements and fortresses to prove their abilities.
Skull and Bones was inspired by the battles for ships in Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag. You should be able to accept orders from merchants or pirate lords. You can get more cannons and armor for your fleet if you succeed. Skull and Bones should have a large amount of crafting. It is up to the players whether they want to compete against each other or team up with friends for the treasure hunt. Ubisoft emphasizes that you can also play solo.
Two trailers have been added for the game.
Ubisoft puts us in the spirit of the golden age, showing how pirates have evolved from being castaways to becoming a well-known pirate. YouTube also has a comment, and the Skull and Bones Gameplay Video is completed.
