The Kama-2 electric car has received new details. It is rumored that it will be built at the Moskvich plant.
The Kama-2 electric car is now 350mm longer than its predecessor. As previously reported, the length has increased to 3750mm and the wheelbase has increased almost half a meter to 252 cm. The car is small and light, weighing in at 1.7 tons. This is much more than the modern compact crossovers.
The electric motor’s power will range from 70 to 130 kW (95 to 177 horsepower), and the drive will only be front. The reserve power will range from 300 to 500 kilometers. Rosatom will supply the battery, which will be found at the bottom.
The source also reports that production of the Kama-2 electric vehicle will start in the near future.
