The date for the official announcement of the Huawei Mate50 series is nearing, and attention to it is growing. New details have been revealed following yesterday’s leakage of images of the rear panels.
According to a source, the Leica logo has been replaced on the new camera unit by the XMAGE technology logo. This was confirmed earlier in the month. According to the company, this brand will enable Huawei to continue leading mobile imaging.
The new render also shows that the Mate 50 series still uses the notch-style screen notch which was popularized with the iPhone X’s 2017 release. The iPhone 14 Pro will likely ditch the notch this year in favor of two smaller cuts.
The models have also been updated with new information. The lineup will contain four models, namely, the standard Mate 50X, the Mate 50X with large screen, and the Mate 50 Pro.
Huawei Mate 50 RS will use the Kirin 9000S single chip system. All other smartphones will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 4G.
These smartphones will be among the first to get the Hongmeng 3.0 operating software, which is expected be announced on July 27,
