Samsung will continue to use the Snapdragon SoC in its flagships for at least another seven years. The companies extended their cooperation agreement

Qualcomm and Samsung renewed their partnership agreement for seven more years, up to 2030.

License agreements cover many technologies. These technologies include 3G/4G/5G and future solutions with 6G. The companies also agreed to increase cooperation on Snapdragon platforms in the Korean company’s flagship smartphones as well as in tablets and PCs.

Today’s announcement by Qualcomm that the Galaxy S23 will only be built on the new Snapdragon SoC was already discussed. It is also too early to speculate that Samsung will abandon its top Exynos SoCs over the next seven year.

Our mutual commitment to long-term collaboration is demonstrated by the extension of our license agreement. Our relationship with Samsung is stronger than ever. Our relationship with Samsung has been strong for more than two decades. We are excited to continue our strategic partnership and develop new technologies and products that use Snapdragon platforms to power premium Samsung devices all over the globe.
