Redmi K50 Extreme Edition first shown from the front

Lei Jun, Xiaomi’s founder, chairman and CEO, posted this morning a new image showing the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition screen.

Flat screens will be available for the device with the ability to refresh the OLED image. There were rumours that the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition would have the same screen as its Redmi K50 Esports Edition. Its diagonal will measure 6.67 inches at FullHD+ resolution. The display’s centre top will contain the front camera.

Geekbench reports that the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition has a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC and 12GB RAM. It scored 1339 points when it was running single-core and 4389 points when it was running multi-core.

Yesterday’s image of the rear panel, in which the primary camera block was partially visible, was published.

Tomorrow, August 11th, will be the day of the presentation.
