NVIDIA’s new neural network can transform 2D images into 3D objects, including human faces and cat faces

NVIDIA and Stanford University developed a neural network called EG3D. It is capable of creating realistic 2D images, and then converting them into 3D. The new algorithm is thought to be superior to its predecessors in terms the quality of the work.

The neural network can create detailed, high-quality faces for famous people. It can even create realistic cat faces.

Although the models are already natural looking, they can’t be used in 3D visualization or games. It is still hard to modify and edit objects after they are created. The neural network creators suggest that other raspberry learning algorithms be used for this purpose.

It was previously reported that DALL-E 2’s neural network had learned how to build houses and mine diamonds using the Minecraft game.
