Gamers may need to wait a bit longer before the next-generation RTX 4000 Ada Lovelace graphics cards arrive. Nvidia has reportedly delayed their launch by a month.
Sources from VideoCardz indicate that Nvidia has delayed new cards in varying degrees. The launch of GeForce RTX40 graphics cards may have been delayed for a month.
According to VideoCardz the RTX 4090 was supposed to arrive in August. However, it may not arrive until next month. We also know that the RTX 4080 was initially planned for September, followed by the RTX 4070 which was in October, and finally the RTX 4060 which will arrive in January 2023. At this point, we don’t know if the release of other graphics cards was also delayed. sources believe the entire series was influenced videoCardz announces that a new card, the GeForce GTX 1603, has been delayed by supply chain problems.
Why is the RTX 4000 series delayed?
Nvidia allegedly delayed Ada Lovecale’s launch due to logistical issues, shortages of chips, or blockages in China factories. However, the American giant may have also wanted to make the most of the current RTX 3000 series+. It has been a while since Nvidia’s latest generation graphics cards were available.
If there hadn’t been a shortage of components, Nvidia could have sold a lot more cards. It wouldn’t surprise if Nvidia wants to be out of stock before new cards hit+. As a reminder: The prices for Nvidia’s RTX3000 graphics cards have fallen in recent months to a level that is now reasonable. Nvidia should be able to increase its summer sales because GPUs are out of stock.
