A Verge journalist tested the new MacBook Pro in full-fledged work mode. The goal was to get the most autonomy from the computer.
The test began at 20:00. The author opened a browser with 12 tabs and Spotify, and turned the brightness down to 50%. As additional applications were added to the computer, such as Google Docs and After Effects, Instagram and Swift Playgrounds 4, PugetBench, Lightroom, the load increased. YouTube ran on the laptop from 2:13 to 8:30 AM, even though the author was asleep.
