Intel seems to have problems with Arc graphics cards as well. The same documents from the company also indicate that Sapphire Rapids server processors are very problematic.
Intel originally intended to release these processors about a year ago. Recent targets speak of launching the processors this spring. We are now talking about launching in the first half of next year.
It all comes down to various errors. According to the NDA-Sights document, there are more than 500 CPU data entries. The source claims that he doesn’t recall any product with so many errors. It is enough to say that the processors have changed 12 steps, from A0 through E5, and are not yet ready for release.
Intel anticipates launching new products between February 6th and March 3rd. Several models for dual-processor systems and other systems will be still available to selected Intel partners in limited quantities. In a recent report to investors Intel spoke out about the problems with Sapphire Rapids but did not go into too many details. However, it confirmed that there was another delay in launch.
