WhatsApp for iOS has introduced Reactions 2.0. This allows users to choose any emoji to react to messages in a private or group chat.
Mark Zuckerberg announced the announcement, writing the following: “We launch the ability to use any Emoji as a reply in WhatsApp.”
In May, the first version of WhatsApp reactions was released with six different Emojis. Users now have more options. Reactions 2.0 is being released today. This means that it could take days, or even weeks, before all WhatsApp users have access to the feature.
Do the following after the function has been displayed:
- Tap and hold on to a message.
- Click on the icon to choose one of the displayed Emojis or click the “+” icon for a new Emoji
You can modify yours by pressing the same button and changing the Emoji or simply clicking on the reaction to delete it.
It is worth noting that Telegram only has 30 of the hundreds of emoji available, and only to paid subscribers. Half of the emojis are available to free subscribers.
