Apple Pay may appear in third-party browsers – support is already in the latest beta of iOS 16

According to industry media, Apple Pay might finally work with Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox web browsers with the latest iOS 16. MacRumors discovered that the payment system is compatible with Edge and Chrome web browsers during a test build iOS 16 beta 4.

While the Edge browser was open, he showed a screenshot showing “Continue With Apple Pay”. Apple Pay currently only works with the Safari browser. This is the case for iOS 15 or older. However, third-party browsers are not supported in macOS’ latest beta.
