AMD is preparing new packaging for Ryzen 7000 processors

A new packaging design for AMD Ryzen processors has been posted to the network. These are expensive models. According to a source, such boxes will be equipped with processors that cost $500. These will most likely be Ryzen 9 models. Ryzen 7 or Ryzen 5 might receive different packaging.

New AMD processors will be announced at an event on August 29, while Ryzen 7000 will go on the market on September 15. The prices of these processors will likely not be significantly different from the Ryzen 5000 series.

The line will also include processors for the AM5 socket and models for AM4. These processors can support DDR4 RAM while the main line supports DDR5. Although the actual release of such processors is not confirmed by the company, rumours about the matter are being circulated on the Internet.

The company may release a small number of CPUs to replace the older socket. These will be placed separately from the main line.
