In terms of market capitalization, AMD surpassed Intel.
Many people would have been surprised to hear this a few years back. However, AMD has been growing rapidly in recent years and Intel is at the end October.
Locally, AMD shares rose by 3% while Intel shares fell by 9% following the publication of the financial report. The capitalization of AMD reached $153 billion while that of Intel fell to $148.5 billion.
Although AMD is not as far behind Intel in financial indicators, the current situation shows that AMD has been moving global only upwards for a while and that investors are now more confident in AMD. AMD will release its financial report on Tuesday.
