Redmi K50 Extreme Edition was one of many new products Xiaomi introduced today. It’s the brand’s latest flagship and is available in a base configuration with 8GB RAM and 128GB flash memory for $445 in China.
Redmi K50 Extreme Edition uses the highest-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Generation 1 single-chip system. It is also equipped with a large cooling system that covers 30,000mm.
Redmi K50 Extreme Edition is essentially a copy of Xiaomi 12.
The OLED flat screen was 6.67 inches in diagonal and supported 120 Hz frame rates, 120-bit color representation, and a resolution of 1.5K (2712×1220 pixels). The iPhone 13 Pro Max Max’s pixel density is the same. The novelty Redmi flagship is the first to feature an under-screen fingerprint scanner.
Redmi K50 Extreme Edition was given a 5000 mAh lithium battery that supports 120W fast wired charging. The proprietary Surging P1 chip is responsible for the charging process.
Three modules make up the main camera system. The main camera system is a 108-megapixel Samsung S5KHM6 with an ultra-wide-angle lens and optical stabilization. A module with a 2-megapixel sensor is available for macro photography.
Redmi K50 Extreme Edition has stereo speakers, NFC chips, and dust and water protection, according to the IP53 degree. It also features a standard headphone socket and a MIUI13 shell. The smartphone measures 8.6mm thick and weighs 202g.
The base model is not the only one that will be available. Three additional versions of the model will also be available: 8/256GB for $490; 12/256GB for $535; and 12/512GB for $595.
Redmi K50 Extreme Edition now has a special edition in collaboration with Mercedes-AMG F1 Formula 1 Team. This variant is the Mercedes-AMG F1 Team Championship Edition. It differs only in its exterior design, inspired by a racing car. This version costs $ 625 and has 12 and 512GB of memory.
