Redmi’s flagship smartphone, the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition, will be available in China tomorrow.
Four versions with 8/128, 8/256 or 12/256 GB were available at the time of the announcement. The full version, which has 512 GB of storage, was not yet available for pre-order. Redmi stated that production is increasing. Redmi K50 Extreme Edition will have a 6.67 inch 1.5K resolution screen. This screen is comparable to the iPhone 13 Pro Max with 458 PPI. The screen supports Dolby Vision HDR10+ and 120Hz refresh rates. It also has a 480Hz touch screen sampling speed.
The main camera (Samsung HM6) is 108 megapixels. It is complemented with eight and 2-megapixel sensors. The phone will have a 5000mAh battery and support 120W fast wired charging.
It can withstand rain, splashes, and wet hands like IP53.
