Geekbench has released a new benchmark that tests the flagship Intel i9-13900K processor. The ES2 version of the processor was apparently tested. It was able to run at a maximum frequency of 5.5 GHz. Rumours suggest that the ES3 will be overclocked at 5.8 GHz. However, the ES2 shows a significant performance improvement over the current models, particularly when you consider multi-threading.
The Core i9-13900K scored 2,133 on the single-threaded and 23,701 on the multi-threaded tests in the new benchmark.
The Core i9-12900K’s single and multi-threaded results are 1987 and 17,272 respectively, Ryzen 9 5950X -1686 and 16,508 respectively. Multithreading is taken into account and the Core i9-13900K is 37% and 48% faster than the flagships of Intel or AMD, respectively. You will see even more performance with the serial version of Core i9-13900K. It can even be installed on the motherboard based upon the Intel Z790 chipset.
